Nick Glassman of Fair Haven passed away unexpectedly Jan. 20, 2022.

Born in 2001 in New York City, Nick graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft where he excelled in academics and was currently attending Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.

Nick was passionate about sports, having played both football and baseball through middle school. An avid Yankee and Giants fan, he was a regular attendee at Yankee and Met Life Stadiums with friends and family alike. In the winter, Nick could be found snowboarding in Utah or Vermont and in the summer, golfing at Navesink Country Club or boating on Lake George and on Long Beach Island. A devoted friend, brother and cousin, those who knew Nick knew of his generous personality, his bright outlook on life and his desire to help each person he met. Nick always had time for others; he was always giving. His most cherished times were spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents Carolyn and Steve Glassman and his brother Jack Glassman, all of Fair Haven; his grandparents, Louis and Margaret Lombardo of Manchester; grandparents Martin and Harriet Glassman of Jackson; aunt and uncle Jennifer and Louis Lombardo Jr. of Massillon, Ohio, and uncle Dave Glassman of New York; cousins Casey and Anthony Lombardo, Alex Glassman and Tristian Greenamyer.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. There was a viewing Jan. 26 at The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Jan. 27 at the church, 180 Ridge Road, Fair Haven. Burial to follow.
