SEA BRIGHT – Superheroes, princesses and everything in between gathered in Sea Bright’s municipal parking lot the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 24, for some not-so-scary Halloween fun. Spooktacular Sea Bright invited families and guests of all ages to don their best costumes and trade houses for trunks at a festive Trunk-or-Treat. Guests enjoyed toys and candy handed out by dozens of Sea Bright residents who went above and beyond decorating their cars for the event.
With buckets and bags brimming with candy, eventgoers could then decorate pumpkins, enjoy some fresh apple cider, and even take part in costume contests. Prizes, donated by local businesses, were awarded in several categories, including best group costumes, pet costumes, and best truck decorations.
Sea Bright Recreation, Sea Bright Fire Rescue, Sea Bright First Aid, and the local business community, through the Sea Bright Business Collective, sponsored the event. In addition to helping bring together the Spooktacular, several local businesses also participated in trick-or-treating along Ocean Avenue.
