Dolores Pantaleo, 86, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 3 with her family by her side. Dolores was born on June 15, 1929 in New York City. In 1949 she married her husband Salvatore. They moved to Elizabeth where they raised their family. As time went on they settled in Middletown.
Dolores was the president and owner of Pantaleo Electric Inc. based in Freehold.
Dolores loved going to Atlantic City and spending time with her family. She was known to be a very generous woman, especially at Christmas time. She truly will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Luigi and Carmela Caruso; her sisters Rosebud and Connie; annd her sister-in-law, Anita.
Dolores was the beloved of Salvatore for 66 wonderful years. She was the devoted mother of Deborah and her husband James, John and his wife Lois, Marianne, Louis and his wife Karen, and Thomas and his girlfriend Francine. She was the loving sister of Frank Caruso, Marie Kaczmarek, and her sister-in-law Marion Rando. Dolores is survived by her grandchildren, Kimberly, John, Andrea, Katlin, Daniel, Jennifer, Jillian, Alyssa, Alexa, and Julia as well as her great grandchildren, Olivia, Hunter, Hayden and Alexandra.
Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, Middletown, was in charge of arrangements.
