Mary Patane, 86, of Highlands, died peacefully on Saturday, August 20 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Highlands many years ago.
Mary was an avid reader, loved animals and was a friend to many animal causes. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Flood; her husband, Frank Patane; a brother, John and his wife Margaret; and a nephew, Brian Flood. She is survived by her sister, Anne Byrnes and her husband James; her brother, Michael Flood and his wife Eleanor; many loving nieces, nephews and her longtime companion, PC.
