Patricia A. Lanza, 78, of Middletown, passed away
Jan. 2, 2022. Patricia was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Manhattan, a daughter of the late Katherine and Francis Miller. She lived on Staten Island prior to moving to Middletown 47 years ago.
Patricia was a counselor at Collier Youth Services in Red Bank for 35 years. Patricia enjoyed garage sales, collecting and quiet time at home, whether it was reading, playing solitaire or watching a mystery or game show on television. She was an avid animal lover. She always had cats and dogs in her home and would probably have a farm full of animals if she could.
The most important thing to Patricia was her family and friends, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will fondly be remembered as a devoted wife and loving mom and grandma.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Louis Lanza, in 2010. She was also predeceased by her brother and his wife, Francis and Patricia Miller, and her granddaughter Marrah.
Patricia is survived by her four children, daughter Lisa Kelly and her fiancé Gene Carman, in Middletown, and three sons and their wives, Stephen and Barbara Lanza of North Carolina, Michael and Debbie Lanza of Florida, and Thomas and Julie Lanza of Toms River. She also leaves behind her sister Kathleen (Harry) Bavaro of Staten Island and 14 grandchildren, Amber, Christopher, Ethan, Alexis, Noah, Sage, Madison, Haley, Justin, Emily, Dylan, Ryan, Lilly and Christian.
It was Patricia’s wish to have no services. Please feel free to leave a condolence at scottkedzfuneralhome.com for her family.
