Patricia McTernan, 78, formerly of Atlantic Highlands, passed away Feb. 1, 2022. Patricia was born June 26, 1943, in Patterson, a daughter of the late Helen and Roy Haake. She lived most of her life in Atlantic Highlands and worked as a cook at the Atlantic Highlands Nursing Home for many years until their closing.
Patricia loved all things cats. She had several cats over the years and if there was something with a cat motif, you could be sure she would buy it. Pat also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, usually with a cat curled up on her lap.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband Richard McTernan last year. She was also predeceased by her brother Roy Haake Jr. and sister Dorthea Mitchell. Patricia leaves behind her stepchildren Richard and Megan, along with her sisters-in-law, Arlene Haake and Jean Stiesi, brother-in-law James McTernan, and many nieces and nephews.
