Patrick Brian George, 41, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully Dec. 13, 2022. He was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and grew up in Rumson. A graduate of The Marine Academy of Science & Technology on Sandy Hook, Patrick excelled academically and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear engineer. He graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelor of Science in applied science and technology.
An avid outdoor lover, he later moved to West Palm Beach to work for the South Florida Water Management District as a cybersecurity specialist and later received his MBA from Florida International University.
Patrick was a loving son and brother with a great sense of humor. His appetite for adventure and love of the water was enthusiastically shared by his beloved dog, Brandy.
He is survived by his mother and father, Brian and Eileen George of Little Silver; his sister Mary (Robert) Dobson of Rumson; and his brother Christian (Tanisha) George of Bear, Delaware. Patrick was also a doting uncle to his three nephews and an adored friend by many.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church in Rumson in the later weeks and interment will follow at Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown where he will be laid to rest with his grandparents.
Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
