Lloyd F. Petillo of Manalapan passed away Dec. 26. Born in Newark, the son of John A. and Rose (neé Sacco) Petillo, Lloyd lived in Red Bank and Colts Neck before settling in Manalapan. He was a former owner of Elsie’s Sub Shop in Red Bank and he worked as a realtor for Mack-Morris Realty in Holmdel. He loved life, was loved by many, a “people person” who loved cars, and who especially loved being with family and friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Predeceased by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 47 years Maria (neé Iannone) Petillo; by his daughter Courtney Petillo (and Mark) Lotfy; by his brothers, John Joseph (and Jane) Petillo, Robert James (and Gina) Petillo; and his sister Francine Petillo (and David) Jordan. Left to cherish his memory are his two grandchildren, Christopher and Alexis, and his many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation was held Jan. 2 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Jan. 3 at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, Chestnut St., Red Bank.
