Red Bank Flavour, Molly Pitcher Inn Partner for Aug. 16 Culinary Fundraiser

RED BANK –  Red Bank Flavour, a culinary campaign driven by the borough’s top chefs, restaurateurs and proprietors, has partnered with J.P. Barry Hospitality Inc.,  to present A Night on the Navesink: A Flavour Summer Soiree at the Molly Pitcher Inn at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.

The evening will offer guests culinary samplings from more than 20 Red Bank eateries, as well as wine samplings, libations, and craft beer selections from New Jersey breweries.  A portion of proceeds from “A Night on the Navesink” will benefit Lunch Break and the Red Bank Middle School Athletics Foundation.

“Red Bank Flavour’s partnership with J.P. Barry Hospitality has presented another opportunity to showcase the culture, cuisine and panoramas that make the Two River region so unique. Guests will have the opportunity to sample delicious summer flavors from Red Bank’s top chefs and restaurateurs, while relishing the stunning waterfront vistas from the Molly Pitcher’s promenade,” said Valerie Aufiero of Front St. Trattoria. “After the success of Holiday Flavour at The Oyster Point Hotel last December, we are excited to create yet another seasonal, epicurean event that will showcase Red Bank restaurants while also promoting two very important, community-minded charities.”

In addition to culinary tastings and libations, “A Night on the Navesink” will boast a beer garden, live music and prize giveaways.  Red Bank Flavours participating in the event include, but are not limited to:  The Boondock’s Fishery, Buona Sera, The Bistro at Red Bank, Teak, The Cheese Cave, Dish, Danny’s Grill and Wine Bar, Gaetano’s, The Down­town, red restaurant, Jamian’s, Pearl at The Oyster Point Hotel, Sugarush A Sweet Ex­peri­ence, Front St. Trattoria, The Melt­ing Pot, Taste, Cup­cake Magician, Blue Water Seafood, Red Bank Chocolate Shoppe, Sicilia Café, Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza and the Molly Pitcher Inn.

Christmas Caramels to Kick Off the Season

A Night on the Navesink will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug, 16 at the Molly Pitcher Inn.  Tickets for the event are $40 in advance or $50 at the door. Tickets are available by visiting www.NightontheNave­sink. or at any participating restaurant.
