Regina P. “Nina” Fisher, 81, of Livingston, passed away peacefully March 5th, 2021. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, to the late Augustine F. and Frances Vassallo Powers.

Regina Nina held certificates as both a radiology technician and a pre-school educatorand as a radiology technician. She had a fulfilling careerwoul d go on to work at Meadow Flower Nursery School in Fair Haven where she had a fulfilling career and a made a positive impact on every student that she hadfor over 30 years.

While Regina filled her time with many hobbies and interests. When she wasn’t teaching, Regina was a dedicated member of Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven. sShe also loved gardening, cooking, going to the beach, and listening to her favorite classical music, . However, what she loved most was spending time with her family. As a mother and grandmother, Nina immersed herself in the lives of her children and grandchildren, attending every school and sporting event and showering those she loved with her support and her signature chocolate chip cookies and meatballs.s, and of course, her dogs. 

Regina Nina was predeceased by her parents; her beloved husband of 47 years, Roscoe Danforth “Dan” Fisher Jr.; her sons, Stephen J. Fisher and Mark J. Fisher; and her sister Peggy Rybarczyk. She is survived by her adored daughter, Jennifer Fisher Weiss, her loving grandchildren, Lindsey Weiss and Daniel Weiss, and her caring sister Patricia Coll.

Arrangements will be held at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven, March 9, followed by burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Stephen J. Fisher Memorial Scholarship Fund, Office of Institutional Advancement, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford, CT 06117.
