Rineberg, Nancy, Age: 69, Little Silver

Nancy Rineberg passed away peacefully at her home in Little Silver May 28. She was 69 years old. Nancy was born in Jersey City to Rose Marie and Edward Jannicola. Nancy spent the early part of her childhood in Jersey City before moving to Metuchen, where she attended high school. 

Nancy received her B.S. in education from The College of New Jersey and briefly taught elementary school before becoming a full-time mother and homemaker.   

She was an avid skier and traveled extensively with her late husband and daughter, but golf was her passion. Many of Nancy’s fondest memories were golfing with friends and family at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton.
Nancy dedicated her life to caring for and loving her family, all of whom adored her in return. She will always be remembered as a remarkably beautiful woman, both inside and out, and for her generosity, kindness, compassion and sense of humor.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Dr. Bernard A. Rineberg, and her parents 

Rose Marie and Edward Jannicola. She is survived by her daughter Rachel; grandchildren Carys, Henry and Gregory; great-grandson Asher; as well as her brothers, David and Peter.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 31 at the Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. The family welcomes contributions in Nancy’s memory to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank has been entrusted with the arrangements.
