Robert S. Emm Sr., 67, of Middletown, passed away April 1, 2023. Bob was born in Newark, a son of the Late Margaret Emm and Joseph Emm Sr. Bob lived in Keansburg and Cliffwood Beach before retiring in Middletown five years ago.
He was a member of the New Point Comfort Fire Company in Keansburg and the VFW Post 4745 in Cliffwood Beach. He was a truck driver for many years, an avid Yankees fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He could often be found at the racetrack watching his nephews race cars.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Carol Emm in 2016. He is survived by their children, Heather Emm and Robert Jr. and his wife Shannon. Bob also leaves behind his fiancé Sheri Graham; his sister Evelyn Emm; and four brothers, Joey Emm, Jay Emm, Ronald Emm and Richard Emm; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8 at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. A service will conclude the afternoon.
