Rosemarie Halle, 73, died suddenly Sept. 28, 2025. Born May 25, 1952, in Centralia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kostiuk) Walchonski

She was preceded in death by her brother John.

Rosemarie graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She had a long career in health care. She started her career as an OR nurse and, after six years, she pivoted to the business side of health care with Blue Cross Blue Shield, rising to the position of HMU administrator, then executive director of Managed Care at Jersey Shore Medical Center, and finally as president and founder of The Halle Group, LLC.

Rosemarie met her husband Jeff during her time at St. Luke’s. They married Oct. 5, 1974 and had two wonderful children. When not working, Rosemarie loved spending time with her family, reading historical fiction, cooking and experimenting with different recipes, and cheering for the Jets and Devils. She also loved dogs, which included her three late cocker spaniels, Suzy, Wendy and Lazzie, and her grand pup, Morris. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, when she would shower her family with thoughtful gifts.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband Jeff; her son Andrew; her daughter Emily; and Emily’s husband, Judd.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 9 at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 10 at the Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel, followed by a burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the ASPCA in Rosemarie’s memory.
