Susan Licata, 63, of Rumson, died peacefully surrounded by her family Nov. 12 at Monmouth Medical Center. Susan was born in Belleville and raised all over the East coast, with Spring Lake and Manasquan as a home base.
She graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and worked as an interior designer for Prudential for many years before becoming a massage therapist. Susan’s best and most rewarding job was as a stay-home mother to daughter Isabel. Susan loved to design and decorate her home.
Susan was predeceased by her brother Jimmy.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Ken, her daughter Isabel, 21, her mother Claire, her sisters Beverly and Amy, and brother Ron.
The family received relatives and friends Nov. 24th at the Posten-McGinley Funeral Home in Atlantic Highlands. A celebration of life will take place in spring 2021.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
