Dunbar Repertory’s ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ Opening at Middletown Arts...
MIDDLETOWN – The Dunbar Repertory Company will present Lorraine Hansberry’s classic work, “A Raisin in the Sun,” Feb. 14 to 22 at the Middletown Arts Center. The play is directed by Darrell Lawrence Willis Sr., a retired theater professor at Brookdale Community College, who co-founded Dunbar 38 years ago.
Celebrating Black History Month with ‘Raisin’
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center is presenting “Raisin” from Feb. 24 through March 12. The musical stars Fredi Walker-Browne, who originated the role of Joanne Jefferson in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical “Rent,” as family matriarch Lena Younger.
