TINTON FALLS – Encouraged by the success of Bell Works in Holmdel, developer Inspired by Somerset Development (Inspired) recently announced plans to create another “metroburb,” located off Hope Road in Tinton Falls in the Commvault building.

A new Department of Public Works (DPW) building is being built to replace the aging trailer at 90 White Road, which the department currently uses as an office.

Avenue has a long history: 65 First Ave. has been home to a real estate company and an insurance company. It once housed Mrs. Gerber’s Used Book Store, Al’s Produce, Fowler’s Novelty Store, Webb’s Shoemakers and Fish & Chips, a seafood restaurant that held its grand opening on Good Friday 1969.
