MONMOUTH COUNTY – America’s 250th anniversary is fast approaching and, here in Monmouth County, the celebrations are just getting started.

RED BANK – The Jazz Arts Project celebrated a milestone nearly two decades in the making recently as community members gathered at 50 White St. to unveil a new mural marking the organization’s first dedicated home. 

RED BANK – Ninety-nine years ago, on Nov. 11, 1926, a movie theater opened its doors at 99 Monmouth St. Over the decades, it has served as a beacon of entertainment for Red Bank and the greater Monmouth County community.

As America’s 250th anniversary approaches, Monmouth County has a lot to celebrate. And the county is encouraging its municipalities to contribute to the semiquincentennial year festivities. With less than a year left until July 4, 2026, many towns have already begun outlining the events they will host to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia in 1776.

TINTON FALLS – The mayor and council members are urging the community to mark noon, Sept. 6, on their calendars and join in a parade to celebrate Tinton Falls’ 75th anniversary.

MONMOUTH COUNTY - Catholics across Monmouth County and the broader Diocese of Trenton joined millions around the world in celebration and reflection following the historic election of the first American pope, Pope Leo XIV.

TINTON FALLS – The air was filled with the crisp smell of brand-new books as volunteers and staff members of the Tinton Falls Public Library rolled large boxes through newly opened doors.

Friends, family and well-wishers came to the Red Bank Senior Center Feb. 22 to help longtime borough resident Edith Blake celebrate a milestone – her 106th birthday.
