RED BANK – You’re gonna need a bigger wall. That is, if you purchase a piece of original art celebrating the 50th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s classic film “Jaws” at an upcoming exhibit in Red Bank.

LINCROFT – Those who have lost a loved one know how their spirits endure, traveling with us beyond the pain of hard goodbyes, walking with us even when we seem to walk alone.

The Monmouth Museum is showcasing Jurassic giants this year with its latest exhibit, “Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed.” Beginning Sept. 7, the exhibit offers a blend of education and hands-on exploration as it transports visitors to the prehistoric age.

Madeleine Carpenter, a Red Bank Catholic senior, may not speak Spanish fluently, and her last name may not be Latine, but she is celebrating her Ecuadorian roots this Hispanic Heritage Month by curating an art exhibit titled “Con Ojos Propios” which translates to “Through Our Eyes.”

A museum can be an inspirational place. For Garrett Reisman, a former NASA astronaut, a trip to the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. as a teen ignited an interest, which eventually led him to the launchpad.

The building that is now home to the Galleria retail and restaurant complex holds a significant place in the history of Red Bank.

The T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center honors late local resident and jazz enthusiast Ralph "Johnny Jazz" Gatta.
