FAIR HAVEN – THE ESTUARY, a team of art curators in Fair Haven, recently announced its third installation, THE ESTUARY ART WALK. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, followed by an after-hours party at Nauvoo Grill Club.

MONMOUTH COUNTY – County officials unveiled the winners of this year’s historic preservation grants. In the Two River area, special projects in Middletown, Fair Haven and Atlantic Highlands will receive funding.

Facing stark rate increases and a burdensome state rule, borough officials approved a three-year trash contract worth a little over $1.43 million during an Aug. 20 special meeting.

At least in Fair Haven, getting stopped by the cops isn’t always bad news.
