TINTON FALLS – In a move to modernize municipal infrastructure while maintaining fiscal discipline, Tinton Falls has unveiled a nearly $9.15 million capital improvement plan for 2025 that promises to transform the borough’s roads, parks and utility systems.

MONMOUTH COUNTY – County officials unveiled the winners of this year’s historic preservation grants. In the Two River area, special projects in Middletown, Fair Haven and Atlantic Highlands will receive funding.

Four local government organizations, including the Henry Hudson Regional Board of Education, the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Medical Service (EMS), the Borough of Shrewsbury and the county, have won the state’s Local Efficiency Achievement Program (LEAP) grants this year for forging shared service initiatives to maximize public benefit.

The Monmouth County Historical Commission awarded grants to 10 projects, including one at The Parker Homestead-1665 for renovating the historic house's kitchen.

Historic Gems around the Two River area receive grants to help maintain and preserve local history.
