Middletown Road Renamed in Honor of Van Zandt Brothers
Hometown heroes and siblings Steven and Billy Van Zandt returned to the street they grew up on for a renaming dedication April 26. To honor the brothers – one a prominent musician, the other a playwright – township officials ceremonially renamed Wilson Avenue Van Zandt Way.
Special Officer Honored for Heroism
Special Law Enforcement Officer III William “Butch” Stevenson was honored during the Jan. 22 council meeting for an act of heroism – saving a Sickles School employee’s life in October.
