MARLBORO – Monmouth County has taken over management of the 411-acre former Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital property, which will be used for passive recreation, such as walking and hiking trails.

Following the adoption of transgender student policy revisions last week by three county school boards, state Attorney General Matthew Platkin quickly filed lawsuits to halt the changes. Area Republican legislators were seemingly just as quick to fire back.
