A million-dollar state grant received by the borough in 2019 that fueled plans to improve Shrewsbury Avenue is now set for a 2025 completion. Preliminary site plans of the project were on display for public review and comment at a two-hour walk-in session held at the borough’s senior center Nov. 20.

RED BANK – Tony Award-winning actor, director, writer and master clown Bill Irwin will make his Two River Theater debut, presenting his one-man show, “On Beckett,” Dec. 7-10.

Final site plans for a four-story residential apartment building by the Red Bank train station went before the zoning board Nov. 2 but met with much resistance from a majority of the board members and residents at the meeting.

Red Bank cares about its residents. That much was clear during the borough council’s first winter conference, as many highlighted the steps being taken to provide for those facing housing and food insecurity and mental health issues, in addition to several code blue initiatives as temperatures drop.
