ATLANTIC CITY – Monopoly City is having a banner season that’s not over yet. Here, summer lasts roughly until Halloween, weather permitting.

SEA BRIGHT – With many Jersey Shore towns scrambling to hire enough lifeguards this summer, Sea Bright has held the line with its unique lifeguard program that maintains staffing and an effective training pipeline – all while some other beaches, including federal beaches at Sandy Hook, are facing potentially dangerous shortfalls.

Summer is the season to soak up some sun and enjoy the generally more laid-back atmosphere that’s become synonymous with June through August.

SEA BRIGHT – Against the picturesque backdrop of Sea Bright’s beachfront, local officials and community leaders gathered May 20 to launch the 2025 summer tourism season, celebrating a record-breaking season last year and the promise of an exciting one ahead for both residents and visitors.

The season’s first heat wave has hit the Two River region and the outlook is “dangerously hot” according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The NWS issued a statewide extreme heat advisory impacting the northeast with heat indexes rising from 96 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit from Wednesday, June 19 through the weekend.
