MIDDLETOWN – The township’s planning board unanimously approved an application this week for a large-scale residential building at 331 Newman Springs Road, part of the River Centre South Redevelopment Plan.

RED BANK – After years of delays, a plan to remediate the former borough landfill along the Swimming River and construct a new park has been reinvigorated.

The governing body approved and adopted the River Centre South Redevelopment Plan amid much pushback from residents whose homes abut the project along the Swimming River.

Although back-to-school events and fall foliage tours are right around the corner, fishermen in the Two River area should not be discouraged. There are still plenty of summer days ahead, according to reports from local captains who are continuing to catch warm water fish.
