Thomas Christopher DeLisa, 58, of Catonsville, Maryland, passed away Feb. 24, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Tom was diagnosed with thymic cancer and valiantly withstood multiple treatments.

Tom was born Dec. 11, 1964, in Red Bank. He grew up in nearby Fair Haven where he made many lifelong friends and enjoyed playing baseball and fishing. Tom attended Rutgers College of Pharmacy where he met the love of his life Anne. They were married in 1990.

Tom loved tending to his vegetable garden, woodworking and building in his workshop, keeping bees, and watching baseball. His idea of a great weekend was one in which he never left his yard, unless he was traveling or hiking with his family.

Tom had a tremendous work ethic, from selling pelts of muskrats he trapped as a child, to working as a roofer with his father in high school and college, eventually serving patients as a homecare pharmacist. He had a sense of humor that made him a pleasure to be around both at work and at home.

Tom is survived by his wife Anne; his children, Pat, Paul and Allison and his daughter-in-law Catherine; his parents, Pat and Sue; his brother Vinnie; his sister Debbie and her husband Steve Fitzgerald; his in-laws, Bill and Mary Ann McLaughlin; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, coworkers, neighbors and all who knew him.

Visitation was held March 1 at Slack Funeral Home, Ellicott City, Maryland. A Mass of Christian Burial was held March 2 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Catonsville, Maryland.
