Thomas Rivello, 81, of Tinton Falls, passed away May 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Thomas was a cross-country truck driver for many decades. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for Local 863, and he was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had a love for horse racing and looked forward to watching the Kentucky Derby every year.
Thomas loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed traveling, trips to Atlantic City and Monmouth Racetrack, country music, and sharing his life experiences.
He was predeceased by his father Salvatore Rivello, his mother Lucia Rivello (DeMarco), sister Mary Cicala, his daughter Beth Ann Rivello, and his stepson Harry Bridgman.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen Rivello; his brother Sam Rivello and wife Robin; his son Frank Bizien and wife Maureen; his daughters, Lisette Wanko, Camille Ambis and husband Keith, and Fabienne Levanduski and husband Chad; his stepson John Bridgman and wife Elizabeth; and stepdaughter Tiffany Perez and husband Anthony. Also surviving are his 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held May 16 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial was held May 17 at St. Leo the Great Church, Lincroft. Entombment followed at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Keyport.
