Golf legend Arnold Palmer once said, “Success in golf depends less on strength of body than upon strength of mind and character.” Seniors Alessandra Arege and Katherine Perrone have embodied these words in their golf tenure at Trinity Hall. From their start on the team, both Alessandra and Kate have shown what it means to be a leader both on and off the course. No matter what situation arose they always carried themselves with poise and professionalism.  They did not let any obstacles stop them and used challenges as stepping stones for lessons to improve their golf scores.

As juniors, our two captains in the 2019 season were able to lead the team to a 5-5 record, third place in the Monmouth County tournament, and third place in the Shore Conference tournament. They always took their role as leaders very seriously and helped guide the way for the rest of the team. Also, they always welcomed the underclassmen onto the team with open arms and showed the younger girls the ropes. Even this year with the season being suddenly halted, they continued to provide the team with guidance and encouragement for the future.  Sophomore player Anna Clements commented, “They have played a very big role in growing the golf program in these past four years, and they will leave an everlasting impact on this team.” We are so proud of all they have accomplished and we are excited to see all the things Alessandra and Kate continue to do in the future!
