Tum J. Lee passed away peacefully in the presence of family April 4, 2022. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and great-uncle. He especially adored his grandchildren.

He was an avid photographer and videographer, creating numerous photo books and DVDs for family. He cherished his children’s piano-playing skills by proudly attending every recital and performance.

Tum attended MIT, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and mathematics as well as a master’s degree in electrical engineering. He was employed at Bell Labs in Holmdel and then worked at AT&T in Middletown until his retirement. While at AT&T, he was granted patents.

He is predeceased by his parents, sister and brother-in-law. He is survived by his wife Candace and children, Melinda Lee-Baumann and spouse John, Jonathan Lee and spouse Sarah, and Rebecca Vaccarelli and spouse Michael. He is survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephew, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was April 18 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A short memorial service followed with interment at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Monmouth Medical Center Foundation.
