Vincenzo Annunziata, 99, of Highlands, passed away peacefully Feb. 5, 2026, surrounded by love. He was born in Newark and lived in Highlands for 64 years.

Early in his career, Vincenzo worked as a heavy truck brake mechanic, then joined the Tri-State Enterprises auto parts distribution warehouse, where he worked for 15 years before retiring. He also served the country honorably in the SeaBees division of the U.S. Navy.

Vincenzo was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Rose Annunziata.

Vincenzo is survived by his daughter, Patricia (John) Adams, and son, Frank (Nancy) Annunziata; his grandchildren, Brian Adams, Jason (Ashley) Adams, Jesse Annunziata, Adam (Casey) Annunziata and Kurt Annunziata; and great-grandchildren, Makayla (Tyler) Harrison, Devon Adams, Haley Adams, Avery Adams, Everett Annunziata, Charolotte Annunziata, Levi Annunziata and Vera Annunziata.

Of 11 siblings, Vincenzo is survived by his sister Anna Annunziata and brother Anthony (Halina) Annunziata, along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Feb. 9 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral Mass was offered Feb. 10 at St. Agnes Church, Atlantic Highlands. Entombment followed at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg.
