Vita Bair, of the Navesink section of Middletown, passed away Jan. 15, 2021. She retired from Prudential in December 1994. She worked part-time as the secretary at Old First Church in Middletown. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and she served on the board for the Rainbow Foundation. She was a baseball coach and Cub Scout leader. She served in the Presbyterian Church as a Sunday School teacher, superintendent of the Sunday School, deacon and elder.

Vita was born in Newark and graduated Keyport High School in 1957. She lived the majority of her life in Middletown. Vita was predeceased by her loving husband, H. Clay Bair. She is survived by her two sisters, Marion Zilinski (Dennis) and Roberta Richards (Bill); her three children Michael Bair (Elizabeth), Julie Bair, and Melissa Jaggers (Shawn); and her stepchildren Cheryl Dulohery (Dana), Clay (Butch) Bair, and Robert Bair (Kelli). Vita has eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to John F. Plfeger Funeral Home.
