Stacey Gregerson Weathers, 46, of Tinton Falls died on Saturday
October 3. Stacey was raised in Monmouth Beach and graduated from
Shore Regional High School in 1987. She went on to attend Monmouth
University graduating in 1991.
As the Executive Director of the NJ Chapter for the Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society, she was a highly respected, aggressive and compassionate
advocate for blood cancer patients and LLS’s mission.
Stacey was the most loving wife and devoted mother. Her family and
friends describe her as a fun loving, vibrant spirit who gave tirelessly to
others and touched the lives of everyone she met.
Stacey is survived by her husband, Gerald Weathers; a daughter,
Emilie Boman; her parents, Margit and Henry Gregerson; her siblings,
Henry, Christina, Rebecca and their families; her in-laws, George and
Tricia Weathers, a sister-in-law, Marianne Stephens and family.
Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday
October 8 at Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m. at The
Church of Precious Blood, 72 Riverdale Avenue, Monmouth Beach. All
other services are private.
