Wayne G. White, 77, of Leonardo, entered into eternal life on Saturday, July 30 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of Middletown Township and resided in Leonardo since 1963.
Mr. White was a welder for the Middletown Township Department of Public Works for 32 years, retiring in 2010. He also worked as a licensed gunsmith in the shore area for many years and served in the US Navy during peacetime. Mr. White was a member of the Navy League and the Middletown Rifle & Pistol Club.
Mr. White was predeceased by his parents, Grandin and Minnie White; and his sisters, Alma Boelher and Carol McDonald. He is survived by his wife, Gail Byard White; a son, Wayne White of Atlantic Highlands; and a grandson, Wayne White.
Posten’s Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, was in charge of arrangements.
