William “Bill” D. Donohoe Sr., 49 of Union Beach, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 16 at his home. He was born William D. Donohoe on January 18, 1966 in Irving, Texas, and at only a few days old, moved to Middletown with his family where he grew up. On March 26, 1994, Bill and his wife, Tina, were married and shortly after settled in Union Beach to raise their family. Throughout his life, Bill worked as a graphic designer and was currently working for American Sign Crafters in Little Falls. Bill was greatly loved by all of his family and they described him as having a very funny, goofy personality. He enjoyed fishing, guns, cars and especially, Nascar. He was predeceased by his father, Douglas Donohoe. Bill is sur- vived by his loving mother, Marion (Manfre) Donohoe; his beloved and devoted wife of 26 years, Christina “Tina” (Rooney) Donohoe; his adoring sons, William D. Donohoe Jr. and Dale R. Donohoe, both of Union Beach; his dear brother, Michael Donohoe and his wife Kerri of Bloomfield, N.Y.; along with his cherished grandson, William Tate Donohoe and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Visitation was held on Friday, May 22 and Saturday, May 23 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday morning, May 23 at St. Mary’s Chapel, Middletown. Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
