Two local marketing and communication professionals who have made a positive impact in their fields have earned honors from their peers.
Wesley Germain of iCIMS in Matawan and Christopher Mulvaney, CEO of Creative Marketing and Design Solutions of Colts Neck were both awarded Jersey’s Best Marketing and Communications Professionals Under 40. They were among 35 professionals bestowed the honor by the New Jersey Advertising Club, in conjunction with the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising Association.
Germain is currently the supervisor of search marketing at iCIMS, where he manages the strategies and metrics to accomplish company goals. A graduate of Moravian College, he minored in computer science and marketing. In his free time he helps bring attention to non-profits like Hope for Children Foundation and Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered. “Wes is very deserving of this recognition, due to his dedication, drive and natural leadership skills, said Gina Baxter, manager of search and paid media at iCIMS.

Mulvaney is a business developer, entrepreneur, community activist and creative marketing strategist. He founded CMDS 14 years ago and has since launched two other web-based start-ups. He is the Corresponding Secretary of the Colts Neck Business Association and an active member of its subsidiary, the Colts Neck Economic Development Committee. In addition, he is also a member of the Communications Council at Monmouth University. Chris is actively involved with the Bridge of Books Foundation, a non-profit organization that collects and distributes books to at-risk children in communities across New Jersey.
“This award means a lot to me. It’s always nice to be recognized within the business community as well as the community around my home,” said Mulvaney.
Germain and Mulvaney represent the “best of the best” in their marketing and communications fields through their outstanding work, creativity, leadership, and generosity in giving back time and talent to the community, the organizers said.
