7/1 – Middletown Police Looking for Armed Robbery Suspects

MIDDLETOWN – Township police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to 911 a call at approximately 1:10 a.m. reporting the robbery occurring on Geary Drive, according to detective Lt. Stephen Dollinger.
The driver, who was not identified, told police as he finished his delivery to a residence and was entering his vehicle when he was approached by two males, wearing ski masks. He said one was armed with a handgun, the other carrying a baseball bat. The two suspects demanded the driver’s money, taking an unspecified amount, and ordered him to drive away. The two then fled the scene on foot toward Main Street and were last seen entering a vehicle the victim couldn’t identify, according to police.
The driver was unable to provide full descriptions of the robbers, police said.
