For anyone born this week, security is the name of the game. Cancers are ruled by the moon, so they are emotional and deeply involved with the family and the security of their home.
Cancers are always looking for a mother or a father. They thrive on the unconditional love a parent has to offer.
Because of their great desire to be needed, a Cancer will often overextend themselves and do more than they really should. Then in turn they will feel taken advantage of and become resentful. As we all know, sometimes dealing with family can be a delicate balance.
There is no better sign in the Zodiac to have at your side if you need a super helpmate, but if you are a freedom-loving character who wants to be on their own, it would be wise to steer clear of the moon sign. Cancers want a partner to be there as a security blanket.

Here we are facing three short weeks of Mercury retrograde that will end on July 20 at 2:22 p.m. – if you take this seriously. The new moon in July will be on the 8th, but it is no time to sign a contract or start a project.
Take your time and celebrate summer. It is a great time to finish things already started. Mars now in Gemini will move into Cancer on July 14.
Aries (March 21 to April 20) One way to keep smiling now will be to get yourself out where it is happening and become mildly involved. Don’t sign up to be the leader of the pack; just be part of the audience. A new friend could pop up and be plenty of fun. Just remember now is not the time to take anything seriously.
Taurus (April 21 to May 20) With Saturn now opposite your sun sign you need to toe the mark. This is no time to try and take a shortcut on anything you really want to happen. The need now is to follow the rules – and know if you do – you will win the game. Don’t get caught up in negative situations and you will win.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) With Mars moving through Gemini you can expect some kind of activity to take place which will benefit you. Don’t get caught up in nonsense and let anyone else take control of your life. If you are interested in moving forward, this is the week to begin to make it happen with no big promises.
Cancer (June 21 to July 20) Right now you could review and refine the details of your future. Exactly what would you like to do in the next year or two? This should be taking up your spare time instead of taking care of everyone else. Take some time out and discover your individual needs. The work will serve you well.
Leo (July 21 to Aug. 20) A parent or good friend could gladly help you solve your latest dilemma. All you need do is ask for some guidance and it will be there. Whoever steps up to give you some aid should be considered a really good pal. You may be asked to do the same within days. So be there with a big grin.
Virgo (Aug. 21 to Sept. 20) With your ruling planet, Mercury retrograde, it might be wise to guard yourself when it comes to agreeing with any pie-in-the-sky schemes. This is not the time to agree with anyone about anything. Just postpone important decisions until mid-July. You will be happy you did.
Libra (Sept. 21 to Oct. 20) There could be some outstanding financial opportunities that come into view. But it would be wise to put them on the back burner until later in July. If you can wait, the chances of success are even greater. Share the ideas with a few pals and then wait.
Scorpio (Oct. 21 to Nov. 20) Your basic instincts will prove to be right, so plan to follow them. In that way you will avoid any deception and the upset it could bring into your life. You are in charge now, try and keep it that way. Don’t settle for less or you will be one sorry character.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21 to Dec. 20) This is the week to realize how relaxing life can be when you stop trying to control every situation. When you back off and enjoy instead of trying to run every show, it becomes much easier to have fun. You’ll stop worrying about what everyone else is doing and enjoy yourself.
Capricorn (Dec. 21 to Jan. 20) Recent developments in your work environment could create a big opening for you to charge. Just go at it slowly and sign nothing until mid-July. As long as you accept the newest responsibility tossed your way, life will be bright and you will love the changes.
Aquarius (Jan. 21 to Feb. 20) There are significant opportunities slowly coming your way. Take your time and make sure this is what you want to do. By mid-July you could once again change direction. So take your time, review your needs and make sure this is what you want to do before you spend the money.
Pisces (Feb. 20 to March 21) Sometimes making a decision is difficult, but a statement of independence at this time is good, not only for you but everyone involved. Now is the time to do it. You will be happy and proud of taking a stand and voicing your opinion. You are headed in a fantastic direction.
