LITTLE SILVER – Starting at 8 a.m., Friday, Dec. 5 and continuing on next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Branch Avenue will be closed to all traffic between White Road and Rumson Road for roadwork, borough police announced on Thursday.
Northbound traffic on Branch will be detoured onto White Road; southbound traffic on Branch will be directed to Rumson Road.
Police are advising motorist to extensive delays and should seek out alternative routes if possible.
On Friday the road will be closed from 8 a.m. to approximately 12 a.m. Dec. 6. Monday’s closure will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday it’ll be 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. Wednesday, with the road closing again at 8 a.m. Wednesday until approximately 6 p.m., according to police.
