MIDDLETOWN – Eight Monmouth County residents, including two from Middletown, are joining the ranks of the Middletown Township Police Department.
Ceremonial oaths of office were issued to the Patrol Officers during the August Township Committee meeting .
The department’s newest recruits are: patrol officers Nicholas J Haines, Christopher P. Menendez, Joshua P. Midose, Rosannie A. Murillo, Savvas Roumeliotis, Brendan B. Santiago, Jason T Troshane, and John F. Walsifer II.
They will attend the Cape May County Police Academy followed by the department’s field training program, Police Chief Robert Oches said.
It’s an honor to issue the oaths of office to our newest police officers,” said Mayor Gerard P. Scharfenberger. “I’m sure they will be valuable additions to our outstanding Police Department.”
