SHREWSBURY – Here are cases that borough police are investigating or have investigated:
- A Laurel Place resident reported an incident of credit card fraud to the police on Aug. 23. The victim told police there were unauthorized purchases totaling $710 on a credit card.
- Police are investigating an Aug. 25 report of fraudulent checks being given to a Broad Street business. According to the victim, $1,855 of fraudulent checks were issued for services rendered.
- Police arrested Alexis Hancock, 18, of Point Pleasant on Patterson Avenue on Aug. 25 and charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Lamar T. Perkins, 23, of Cliffwood was arrested on Aug. 29 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court warrant.
