Barbara Ann Sneed, 77, of Charlotte, died Nov. 22 at her home.
Barbara was born March 3, 1942 in Fair Haven. She worked in the banking industry for over 40 years in New Jersey and North Carolina. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Anthony Bogardus, second husband James Alvin Sneed, third husband Robert McCafferty; by son Jeffery Bogardus; and stepsons, Jerry Lynn Sneed and Jeffery Scott Sneed.
Barbara is survived by her son Jim Bogardus (Victoria) of Fair Haven; grandchildren, Shannon and Michael Bogardus; brother Peter Little of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and sister Linda Madden of Amherst, New Hampshire.
Other family survivors include stepdaughters, Debra S. Norvill, Kelly Low (Eric), Gina and Kevin Shay, Bo Thompson (Jeff) and Sandy Barker (Layne); stepson Tommy Mowery (Jamie); grandchildren, Renee Julian, Jimmy Sneed, Brittany Sneed, Tiffany Sneed, Tricia Thompson, Jacob Sneed, Emily and Matthew Low, Julia Thompson, Samantha Love, and Sara, Benjamin and Harrison Mowery; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Kyle Madden (Christine), Lindsay Madden and Ian Little (Erin); and her cherished dog Lucy.
The family would like to thank Barbara’s dear neighbors who watched over her, Al, Wes, Brittany and Li.
