Hugo “Vic” Cota

Hugo “Vic” Cota, 77, of Atlantic Highlands, died July 19 in Lincroft. He was born April 19, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Anthony and Angela (née DiStasio) Cota. Vic grew up in Hoboken and Union City and graduated from Emerson High School in Union City. He then earned his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Rutgers University, Newark. Vic worked as an accountant for PSE&G for 30 years and then for Rutgers for five years after he retired from PSE&G. Vic has resided in Atlantic Highlands for the past 45 years. 

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Susan (née Kneller) Cota; his daughter Suesan Cota; his son Franklin Cota; his brother Darwin Cota; and many nieces and nephews.
