Mary Mancino Lamberson, 84, of Red Bank, died at home Dec. 15, 2021. Born in Long Branch, she was a resident of Red Bank for most of her life, first on West Side Avenue until she and her husband bought their home on Elm Place where she lived for 56 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucilla and Salvator, and her husband Raymond.
She is survived by her son Michael of Glen Ridge, his wife Marnie and her three grandchildren, Matthew, Catie and Beth. Also surviving are her three brothers, Vincent of Lincroft, Frankie of Tinton Falls and Salvatore of Rumson, and her nephews, Bobby, Scotty and Joseph.
Mary worked in the banking industry for most of her career, eventually as part of the Midlantic Corporation. A detail-oriented administrator, she loved working in banking and treasured the lifelong friendships she made. Later she worked for the Monmouth County Police Academy and Monmouth University’s campus security department.
She loved gardening and was known in her neighborhood for her beautiful flower garden. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong and bridge with her friends and vacationing with her husband and family.
She enjoyed working out at exercise classes and meeting her brothers at the mall to spend time together and get caught up.
A remembrance of her life was held Dec. 20 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank with a visitation followed by a prayer service. The burial was at Saint Catherine’s Cemetery in Sea Girt.
