Patricia Caron née Mallack, 82, of Lakewood, formerly of Belleville and Middletown, went home to “God’s pocket” Oct. 28, 2022, at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.
Pat, as many knew her, was born to the late Joe and Lois (Schuster) Mallack. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1958 and then worked as an administrative assistant at Mutual Benefit in Newark before raising a family. She married her soulmate, Jack, May 1, 1965, prior to becoming a wonderful stay-at-home mother to their three daughters. As her children grew, she worked part-time at Mace Furniture, Kearny, and then Thorne Middle School, Middletown, as a paraprofessional and an administrative assistant.
She had a love and true talent for home decorating, while also enjoying bowling, crafting, reading, doing puzzles and keeping up on politics. Above all, Pat loved a good party with her family and friends. She truly enjoyed a good laugh and making others laugh with her very quick wit and great sense of humor. She had a zest for life and never wanted the party to end, she especially did not want the party here on Earth to end.
Pat is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, John “Jack” Caron.
Surviving are her loving daughters, Tracy Petrany, Kathy (Mike) Mrotzek, and Christie Fraser; grandchildren, Brooke and Caity Petrany, Amanda and Matt Mrotzek, and Jack and Braedyn Fraser; and siblings-in-law, Kathleen (Caron) and Sean Gallagher, Jack McDermott and Paul Gross. Also left behind are many nieces, nephews, cousins and amazing friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4 at St. Catharine’s RC Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you spend quality time with your family, hold them tight and raise a glass to toast a life well lived and loved for this beautiful and feisty lady.
Arrangements are under the direction of John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
