Fitness was always a priority for Arthur. He was an avid tennis player and more recently fell in love with pickleball. A voracious reader, he especially enjoyed books about world history. Arthur maintained his medical license until his death, always studying and keeping up with the latest advances in his field.

He and his wife and best friend Nancy had several close friends with whom they enjoyed socializing.
