Patricia Eileen Coleman of Keansburg passed away Aug. 8, 2024, at Inova Medical Center in Fairfax, Virginia. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.

Pat was an amazing wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

She was born in Hoboken and grew up in Saddle Brook. After marrying her husband Daniel in 1968, she moved to Rutherford and then settled in Keansburg, where she lived for 53 years. She also lived part of each year in Washington, D.C. later in life.

She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She rarely missed a sporting event, recital, school or family event for her children or grandchildren. She loved the beach, travel, music (especially Bruce Springsteen) and cheering on the Mets, Giants and Devils.

After graduation from high school, Pat attended Katherine Gibbs school, learning secretarial skills. Prior to becoming a homemaker, Pat was a patent secretary for Hoffman-La Roche. Later in life, Pat returned to the workforce in a variety of positions in sales and bookkeeping before retiring.

Pat was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Daniel, in 2000, as well as her parents Margaret and John Landrigan. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Joanna), Cara and Stephanie (Tony); her grandchildren, Ryan, Wren, Brennan, Olivia, Emery and Owen; her sister Susan; her brother John; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 16 at St. Ann’s Church in Keansburg, immediately followed by burial at Fair View Cemetery in Middletown.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, a cause that was very dear to Pat after the passing of her husband.
