With great sadness, the family of Frank Joseph Clifford Jr. of Red Bank, beloved brother and uncle, announced his passing May 3, 2025, at the age of 70.

Frank, commonly known as F.J., was born May 31, 1954, in Glen Ridge and grew up in Rumson. He graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He resided in Red Bank for over 40 years, where he had a close network of friends and neighbors.

Frank was the son of the late Ruth Reiss Barrett and Franklin Joseph Clifford.

Frank was always on the go and known throughout the Red Bank area. He was employed for many years by the Reiss Corporation in Tinton Falls. After retiring, Frank was known for his volunteer work at several community organizations, including Monmouth Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, and Jersey Shore University Medical Center. He was commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion by St. James Church and received the honors of the fourth degree of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his sister, Carey Brittain and her husband Peter of Atlantic Highlands; his brother, Gregory Clifford and his wife Teddy of Fair Haven; and his sister Gretchen Hudson and her husband Robert of Rye Beach, New Hampshire. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, and 12 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Services will be private. Thompson Memorial Home of Red Bank has been entrusted with the arrangements.
