Paul F. Baeri, of Tinton Falls, passed away peacefully June 21, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 76 years old.

Paul was born in Brooklyn, the beloved son of Louis and Lilian (née Napoli) Baeri. He spent his early life in Brooklyn before moving to Morganville. He graduated from Christian Brothers Academy in 1966 and received his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University in 1970.

Paul enjoyed every minute of his 40-year career as a self-professed “Wall Street geek.” He worked in fixed income trading and sales at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, Bank of New York, Gleacher & Company and Cantor Fitzgerald. He had more dear friends in the business than most people have in a lifetime, and he was especially proud of those he mentored early in their careers.

His love of “the business” was only eclipsed by his love of his family. He married the love of his life, Margaret, in 1978, and together they settled in New York City to start a family. Shortly after the birth of their third son, they relocated to the Jersey Shore and raised their boys in Monmouth Beach, Little Silver and Red Bank. He was a caring husband, a phenomenal father, an amazing grandfather and a wonderful friend.

Paul was an avid skier, golfer and all-around adventure seeker. After a day on the slopes or the course, you could often find Paul in the hot tub enjoying a good cigar and an extra-dry Beefeater martini, straight up with olives. He loved to travel the world with his family, taking them to six of the seven continents and introducing them to all the mystery and beauty that he saw in the world.

Paul will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him as a kind and generous man with a limitless sense of humor. He was always willing to help a friend in need, especially if it required his legendary DIY skills based on the “measure once, cut twice” philosophy.

Paul is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margaret; his son Eric and his daughter-in-law Kristen; his son Jason; and his son Vincent. ‘GP’ will forever be remembered by his three loving grandchildren, Eric John, Christopher Paul and Morgan Claire. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Lilian, and his beloved younger sister Marilyn Bash.

Visitation was held June 25 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. June 26 at Tower Hill Presbyterian Church, 255 Harding Road, Red Bank. Interment will be private.
