Alexandria “Alice” Rondinelli, 85, of Fair Haven, passed away June 19.  Known to her family as their Queen, in the most loving and respectful way. One of the kindest, most generous hearted angels. Alice dedicated her life to her family.

On June 19, her family gathered to embrace, love, sing and lead her home to be with her husband Edward in eternal peace and joy.  Alice and Edward together were a true romantic love story. They were always dancing and singing through their home in Holmdel, where they raised their family. Christmas Eve was their biggest celebration and welcomed all into their home.

Born in Jersey City May 21, 1937 to Catherine (Loguidice) Dziakiewicz and Leon T. Dziakiewicz, she graduated Snyder High School and then Berkley Business School.

On Jan. 28, 1961, Alice married the love of her life, Edward. In 1971, Alice and Edward moved from Rutherford to Holmdel and started Rondell Construction and Property Management Corp. Together the “dynamic duo” successfully built their company and lovingly raised their two daughters: Donna and Linda. Alice and Edward both loved their trips to Atlantic City and beach trips with their friends. Alice was an amazing Italian cook and Sunday dinners were full of love. Alice was very involved with her daughters from sports, dancing school, CCD and being a Girl Scout leader.

Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward J. Rondinelli, her sister Vera Torcivia and her brother-in-law, Benedict Torcivia. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Rondinelli Price and her husband, Christopher of Keyport, and Linda Hughes and her husband, Kevin of Fair Haven, and her grandchildren whom she adored, Michael Price, Dr. Alexandria Price and her significant other Sean Vergara, Nicholas Carducci, Catherine Carducci, Trevor Hughes, Kasey Hughes and Kevin Hughes, and her nephews Benedict and Joseph Torcivia, and her beautiful friend Christine Moscatiello.

Visitation was Thursday, June 23 at the Holmdel Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial was Friday, June 24 at Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel. Entombment followed in Holmdel Mausoleum. To share a favorite memory or messages of condolence, please visit Alice’s page of tributes at holmdelfuneralhome.com.
