Atkinson Joins Gloria Nilson Realtors M’town Office


MIDDLETOWN – Gloria Nilson, REALTORS®, Real Living welcomed Graeme Atkinson to the Middletown office as a broker/sales associate.

HR Group to Hold Meeting on Bullying in the Workplace


NEPTUNE – Some studies suggest that up to one-third of workers may be victims of workplace bullying. Just as school administrators have the responsibility to develop policies to address bullying, it is up to human resource professionals to develop prevention strategies and sound management practices in order to react swiftly when bullying occurs in the workplace.

The Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources (JSAHR) will hold a meeting from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, for attendees to learn how to create a bully-free workplace environment at Jumping Brook Country Club, 210 Jumping Brook Road.

During the meeting, hosted by the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a panel of HR experts will discuss “Bullying in the Workplace: HR’s Role in Creating a Bully-free Environment.” Topics include the definition of bullying and how it compares to harassment; federal and New Jersey laws regarding employer obligations; best practices and recommendations for anti-bullying policies and prevention strategies, and how bullying in schools affects the workplace.

Attendees will receive a template for developing a written policy designed to prevent bullying.

The panel will include: Luanne Peterpaul, partner at Peterpaul & Clark, a co-author of the State of New Jersey’s Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights; Jennifer Limsky, vice president of employee relations at Prudential Insurance; Terri Dawe, employee assistance program coordinator at CPC Behavioral Healthcare; and attorney Robin Ross, director of compliance and training at the Employers Association of N.J.

SHREWSBURY – The law firm of Archer & Greiner P.C. has established an office in Monmouth County, expanding one of the region’s largest law firms with the addition of the three name partners of Nelson Supko & Hanlon LLC, Archer & Greiner President Christopher R. She has more than 20 years of litigation experience, both civil and criminal, including more than three years as an assistant district attorney in Bronx County, N.Y., where she prosecuted white collar, narcotics and violent felony cases as a member of the arson and economic crime unit. Her private practice experience includes representing automobile manufacturers, insurance companies and other corporate and individual clients in litigation matters involving products liability, personal injury, asbestos, toxic tort, intellectual property and criminal cases. She serves as municipal prosecutor for Atlantic Highlands and deputy borough attorney for Tinton Falls.



Vaccaro Named Board Chairman of VNA Health Group


RED BANK – Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, (VNAHG) has an­nounc­ed the appointment of James S. Vaccaro, as the new chairman of the Visiting Nurse ssociation Health Group Board of Trustees.

Vaccaro has been an active board member since 2003 and served as treasurer of the VNA Health Group board since 2009.

Vaccaro is currently president and CEO of Manasquan Savings Bank. He has a long-standing career in banking, serving as former CEO of Monmouth Community Bank, which he helped form in 1998 and later as CEO and chairman of Central Jersey Bancorp, a $600 million Bank Holding Co. where he was instrumental in its 2010 merger with Kearny Financial Corp. In 2011, Vaccaro was appointed chief operating officer of Springpoint Senior Living, Inc.

Vaccaro is a graduate of Ursinus College and an advanced certificate program from Harvard Graduate School of Business. He serves on numerous local boards including Monmouth University, Barnabas Health, Monmouth Medical Center, NJ Repertory Theater, Preventions First Leadership Cabinet and Interfaith Neighbors Advisory Board.

A life-long Monmouth County resident, Vaccaro lives in West Allenhurst with his wife JoAnn. They have three grown children.
